I am having trouble with the power steering, it turns to the left fairly easily, but when turning right it goes easy to the center position then almost impossible to finish turn ing right. This is all while it is sitting still. Is seems to turn just fine either direction while moving. This unit has the dual ram setup on the front axle to augment the steering rods. Has anyone out there had this problem and been able to solve it? Thanks in advance for the help.

That problem is usually caused by a cylinder piston seal letting the oil bypass. One that won't turn to the right it would be the left cylinder causing the problem.

Well the seals finally made it in yesterday, hope to have them installed today. Had to get a gulp of fresh air after having paid for them though. You would think someone had secretly painted them JD green. Will let you know how it turns out.
Thanks

Well the new seals kept what little was leaking from leaking, but found out my clyinders ar not sevicable as they are crimped on both ends. That lady at the sevice desk had a vicious sense of humor. Asks me if I want the good news or the bad news, I say bad news. She informs me that the right cylinder is 378.00 dollars. After they get done repairing the hole in the floor from me passing out I ask what the good news is. She informs me that the left one is only 370.00 dollars. At that point I think they called an ambulance, but am not quite sure as I was fading in and out. I decided it was going to have to be good enough. It steers very easily as long as the wheels are just barely moving even a little. It is only difficult when at a absolute stand still.
Thanks again for the advice.
PS What years did they put the 4 cylinder Continental diesel in the TO35? I just got one today and seems to be a very nice set up. Is ther anything from your experience that I should watch out for on it?
