My father in law has a TO35 Deluxe which I am familiar with, I have a chance to pick up a TO20-80, which I have only seen a picture of

What are the differences between the two in terms of size, HP, parts availability, etc.

Thank-you

If I had a choice of what model I would want. I definitly would look for a MF-35, or TO-35 with the two stage clutch (Live PTO) and position control. The TEA-20 would have neither.

IF the TEA is at a good price then why not, but it would not be my 1st choise. Good Price ($1000 to $1200 or less)

Jeff

The TEA 2080 is the least powerful of the Ferguson line. The TO 35 is much more powerful. I own one of each. The 20 is slightly smaller but both tractors look very similar. There are improvements with each model. The TEA 20 will not have a two stage clutch - but depending on what you plan on doing with the tractor this may or may not be a big deal. I run a 5 foot bush hog with the 20, but I have an Over Running Clutch installed and it does a great job. Others here will give you the exact HP ratings. Goodluck, Neil.

The TEA 2080 sounds like it would be perfect for you. The history is really cool and they are not hard to work on or restore - if you're into history. Lots of help is available here and, depending on where you are in Ontario, there are a few of us around that are willing to talk Fergie.

FYI, the difference between the 2080 and 2085 is the size of the piston. The 2085 is a little later in production and has improved HP.
