Looked at a TEO20 (I think it was that model) this week, it had the Standard Motor Co. engine, pretty rough shape particulaly the front tin. The whole grille, hood and side units were smashed in and totally rough. I'd tackle most steel projects but I noticed that this tractor had sheet aluminum tinwork on the front. Was this all that common? Tractor looked complete, engine turned, the rest looked OK. I wonder if a guy should make an offer .... any idea of what it might be worth?

Way,
Aluminum was not that uncommon. Having a Standard Motor Company engine it is likely a TEA20, if it runs on gasoline.
It's worth what it's worth to you - can't give advice as it depends so much on where you live, and of course what currency you use. Usually the rule of thumb is the more work it needs, the more you would save by paying more for one in better shape.
You may be able to find replacement sheet metal (possibly steel) at a wrecker's, or re-work what you have there. The grilles are availble from England - at a price.

You should be able to get hood parts from Sparex dealers in USA and Canada now.
