I have had the seat off 10 yrs ago to repair a diverter valve. I did so again yesterday and seemed to break a valve going into the pump from the 3 point piston fork. Does anyone have a video, diagram or photos of this pump and parts. Also a place for replacement parts.

I'm also interested in how the valve etc reassembles, in particular what keeps the long (6 inches) rod with one squared end (fits in fork at engine end of pump) and one flat end (fits in back of valve assembly)in place.

It is quite easy to snap the small control valve on the front of these pumps. It has to be carefully disconnected from the lift arm control spring mechanism BEFORE removing the top cover. Otherwise, it will break off as it is rather fragile. Massey Ferguson dealers have them along with some of the mail order catalogs specializing in tractor parts. It comes with the complete seat and valve. It should be easy to see if the top has been removed. An IT manual shows the pump in exploded view if you need one. When reinstalling, put the top on and reach in through the side cover and carefully spread the forks of the lift arm mechanism over and onto the control valve projections. Good luck
