Decided to keep it simple. the opportunity came up to buy a Continental Z-145 out of a Massey fork lift. Cut off an ear on the bell housing installed and runs like a champ.

And can you do me a favor? Could you measure the distance from the oil pan flange gasket to the head gasket? Thanks!
I'm trying to find out if the 145 block is the same height from the oil pan gasket to the head gasket as a Z134 block. Just in case my 134 in my MF35 poops out and I need a new engine option.

It will bolt rigth up with out any modification to the MF35 the late model 135 and 150 used the Z145 in them, with no change to fuel tanks, Sheet metal, or front axle from the early 135 and 150 with the Z134.
