Following a recent posting on the subject of buying parts, there seems to be a disconnect between Yesterdays and their agents who send the parts.
On ordering, UK is an option, but, having placed an order and received acknowledgement, next day agents e-mail to say they don't ship outside US. Happens to me everytime.
Perhaps the ordering facility should specify US only (apparently they don't cover Canada either)to save us wasting our time.
Don't get this nonsense with Restoraton Supply.

Gee, maybe its just me but one of the reasons I hate to order things on-line is because I like to clearify what I've ordered and what they are going to ship. I thought I remembered that Yesterday's Parts Catelog noted that they ship from warehouses located around the USA and did not ship to Canada or other places outside the USA. Just checked and sure enough there it is at the bottom of the first page. They also include an (800) phone number to call which is what I use. I know this doesn't help you folks in the UK but let's not bad mouth the seller for living up to what they say. Also, I have ordered from them and been very happy with the service and the delivery from their warehouse in California. Of course I live in California, about 100 miles from one of their warehouses. I've ordered from others that were cheaper and been disappointed in the delivery time and cost (they're 2500 to 3000 miles from here). So I guess it all depends. But, since we are using their web site for these discussions I'll continue to buy from them when I can.

Glenn, hear what you say - I don"t have one of their catalogues so I"m not aware of any restrictions listed there, but their website lists nearly every country in the world including UK, so it"s a bit annoying when one places an order only for it to be cancelled later. The point I was making was why list all those countries if their agents won"t send to them? I"ve tried to buy from them but I can"t.
