Was just asked this question but I can't remember and my Parts Inter-Change Book grew legs at a get together a while back. Guess they wanted it more than I did?? Is the 2 transmissions basicly the same? I can't remember if the TO-20 has a Starter interlock or if there is a few other things different. I know the Differnential Gears are the same so the coupler shaft would be along with the rear bolt flange. Any help here? Thanks, Mark H.

Willie: My shop manualo indicates that the Transmission and Differential on the TO-20 and TO-30 are the same. Everything I've seen and read indicates this is true. Yes, the TO-20 has the gear shift/starter interlock. Something the modern Car Manufacturers have only recognized in the last decade. Harry was way ahead of his time. LOL Glenn

Willy, according to my Ferguson Parts Manual, the transmissions are the same but the ring and pinion and the axles housings have differeent part numbers.
