Hi,

I have a H.F. TO-30, which the hydraulic lift control spring needs to be adjusted. I have the shop manual for my tractor, but it doesn't go into detail as how to adjust the yoke. Would someone kindly provide me with a detailed step-by-step procedure.

Thanks,

Norm

Place a plow or some other piece on the three point hitch and lift off the ground. The control spring should just be able to turn with your hand if not adjust by turning the yoke in or out. Sounds easy but if yours is like mine the threads on the shaft and yoke was rusted tight. With heat and patience it finally came loose. Only after I pulled the linkage from the control valve.
