I am looking to buy a new 6-volt battery for my to-20. Looked up napa's website...no 6-volts!, wal-marts 6-volts are for golf carts!. Can't seem to find a place here in AZ who sells 6-volt "tractor" batteries. Any suggestions?

Bernie, Interstate Battery makes them. I've bought several from them over the years. You won't have any trouble locating a retailer in the Phoenix area in the yellow pages under batteries.

Farm stores in Iowa and Missouri carry them. Even a few hardware stores.

Orchen, Farm and Fleet, Farm and Home, TSC, Theisen's, Shopper's Supply, Bucheit, Farm and Family, and value built... And farm implement dealers. Sears can order them, Interstate Battery stores should be able to get them.

You want a number 1. There's nothing wrong with the golf cart battery except its big. That means it will start the tractor for a long time but it might not fit the battery box.

Don't skimp on battery cables, keep them large, like 1 gauge or fatter.
