Hi guys,

I just aquired a 1958 TO35 Deluxe tractor. I would like to know if there are any owners near my curent home (Hamden, CT) or my new home (Plymouth, CT) who have a properly restored tractor of the same year and type. My tractor has been somewhat forlorn for many years and lots of detail pieces are missing or damaged and I want to know what certain things are supposed to look like! My tractor runs well but is very ugly (see photo in photo section). Please write me if you are local and know lots about these fine machines!

Cheers!
Sam

Thanks for the info. I should clarify that it was given by a friend and there are some conditions such as allowing the giver use of the tractor on occasion but still it is a great deal for a guy like me with no money!!!

Sam,

I looked at your tractor photo. Believe me, I've seen that looked much worse that turned out to be very nice tractors with a little TLC.

The two top nuts for the grill are available from any MF or AGCO dealer. The part # is 180 630 M1. They don't come cheap but since you were given the tractor, it shouldn't be a big burden.

If you will e-mail me at pnelson239(at)earthlink(dot)net, I will give you some additional information that may be helpful.
