Hey all I don't know how much truth there is in this but I was talking to one chap who said there is a product in putty form that can be worked into the crack (after you go at it to put a groove where the crack is) it hardens, then grind it smooth????? ???

The blocks are different for a 12v and a 6v, but only at the hole for the starter, the 12v type is bigger.

I very recently saw one for sale in the ISell magazine - within last 2 weeks. They are on sale just about everywhere auto trader is for sale. They have classified ads so you can go straight to farm equipment. I just bought my Ferguson Cordwood saw out of the mag. Goodluck! Neil

A cracked on can be welded, depending where the crack is. I would recommend John McLellan near between Gillies Corners and Franktown.
