The tractor serial # tag is gone
The engine ser is Z129E301399 or 89, not clear
The carb # is TSX458851
There is a casting # on the rear end TO4012B

From what I can see so far it is either a TO 30 or a TE 30, but I would like to know for sure just what it is if someone can help

Hi
The engine was built for the Ferguson TO 30, the engine serial number puts it in the first year of production that being 1951. there was only 12,678 built that first year and the tractor s/n are from 60001 to 72679.

hope this is of help

It's a TO30; there is no TE30.

Thanks for the help.
I got the TE30 from the Serial Numbers page listed to the left on this site.
The Old friend that had it thought he got it in '47. He died last fall @ 89 years and was not in very good shape.
Going to restore and use it.

Never noticed that - some of that data is not very accurate I see.
Hope you enjoy it. You'll get lots of help here.

Thanks for the help
From what I can see I have a 1951 TO-30
The engine is now rebuilt, fighting with the carb float a little, next step is brakes.
Waiting on manual.
Pictures to follow after first of year
