I am searching for a conversion wiring diagrram for a Harry Ferguson TE-20 Six volt to twelve volt, using a delco alternator with a built in voltage regulator. Any help with this will be deeply appreciated. Thanks

Gary, You dont say if you are using an electric temp gauge or the original type. If its the original type really the only way is to change it, if the water is getting hot and you are not getting a reading it must be the gauge unit, there will be a leak in the tube somewhere vibration cracks it. If its an electrical one you could just try replacing the sender unit, thats the bit that goes into the engine, that is the part to go normally...John

I do have a wiring diagram for a conversion like you are doing, using a single wire alternator. If you would like a copy mail me at fergusontractors at hotmail dot com add your original mail to it so I dont have to search through all my mail though please.
