Would like to know if someone can tell me how to identify the tractor.
I beleave it is a '47 furguson.
I know it has a Z-129 continental engine
Where are any identifying marks and what are they.

If you have a Z-129 engine and it is origional then you have a TO-30 tractor. This model was first made in 1951.

Year SN
1951 60001 to 72679 1952 72680 to 108644
1953 108645 to 125958
1954 125959 and up.

Jeff, can you help me.
The data plate that is supposed to be behind the steering wheel is gone off the tractor.
The Engine # is Z129301399 or 389 ( not clear)
The only other number I can come up with is on the carberator TSX458851. By the way I could use a float for this carberator.

Just to the front of the tractor behind the steering wheel should be a metal data plate with the information you seek. That is, unless someone before you covered it with paint. Z-129 engine I thought was TO-30, but your data plate listing model and SN will tell you. If you can match Serial Number with the information on link just to the left of your message post, it'll give you what you need.
