Dad had a 1951, don't know if it was a 20 or 30, it was red, white, and blue. Looked orginal, not to say someone didn't restore the tractor sometime between 1951 and 1976. I didn't remember seeing one spot of gray anywhere. It still puzzles me from time to time. Sadly we sold the tractor in 1989.

All standard-ordered TO-20s and 30s were gray. However, a tractor could be ordered with special colors. Frequently county highway departments would order them in orange or some shade of yellow. It s possible they would produce a red, white, and blue paint job for someone who was willing to pay the extra price. Tractor restorers frequently remove all old paint before repainting. Someone might have done this with the tractor and then repainted it in the colors of the US flag.
