I was at an auction last Thurs. (4-8-04) in Buford, Oh. They had quite a few Ferg. Items for sale. I now have a few new "Toys"

TO-20 SN 10095 ('49) Nice overall shape, engine purred, no misses. Hydro seemed good. Generator missing cover and open to air. Original spark plug wires, had tool box, oil pressure, and ammeter disconnected, Original lights including Taurus rear light. Original stay bars with chain and warning tag. Seat replaced. Went for $3250.

I picked up the Ferg. 3-point Tractor Jack and the Belt Pulley for under $30.00

Had a MF165 gas (Z-174) went for $4200
A MF150 gas for $4600
Farmall ??? not an "A" crop row config. for $4900.

Thought they went a bit high.

A Ferg 8 foot sickle bar mower ($10) very rusty
JI case square bailer ($800)
Ferg. Chisel plow or cultivator 8 foot(over $400)
Cord wood saw (not a 3 point) $11. I thought about this just to use the blade for a wall decoration.

Defiantly a lot of tractor buyers there.
Some high some low, you just never know what you will find.

Thanks for the update...always interesting to hear what this stuff goes for.

Is this a regular auction? Where is Buford?

Just a Farm Auction. The kids moved off to other pursuits and the farmer is retiring, no need for the big stuff.

Buford is a small cross-roads town in the S-W corner of Highland County, OH (30 miles east of Cincinnati)

I was born back up the road toward Hillsboro a mile or two...back Martin Lane. Drove my first tractor there around six years old...it was an N Ford of uncle Leonards. Fred OH ( Martin)
