I was looking in a tractor boneyard today for a dirt scoop (3 pt). I found a Dearborn scoop that I was not able to read the model #, Anyway I couldn't tell if it was a reversable scoop or not. I have done a search on implements pictures and there are no Dearborn scoops listed. Anone have an idea or thought on the Dearborn scoops?

Per Question from JD/MO, All scoops that I have seen do hook up to top link, per the damage to draft control I have no answer. Thanks to Gerry for letting me know that it is not a reversable scoop.

Hi Terry, I recently bought a dirt scoop that is reversable, and after useing it in both directions, I like to use it in the reverse position. I'm wondering, if you know, does this hurt the draft control/ pump assembly under the seat, or should I be attaching the top link to a different point. sorry I can't help you with the Dearborn scoop thing, I thought you probalby would know more about how to use a scoop than I do. Thanks JD

Terry MI;

I dont see where using a dirt scoop in either direction would do any damage to the draft control or hydraulic system. Just take it slow and easy when you load the scoop.

no it wont hurt the system. i think the newer scoops are reversable. its easyer if you can turn it aroun and scoop somthing up than to pull scoop depending on what your doing.
