Is there anyway to stop the 3pt from going up at a certain spot with a TE-20? I know that these have a "floating lift" and I have a set of chains to stop it from going all the way down, but I am trying to keep it from going all the way up. I have a mower and I've already busted the PTO shaft U-joint once and don't want to do it again.

If you look down the list to 2/02/00, there is a message from Zane Sherman about the "Zane Thang". He has developed an add-on to give the Ferguson tractors position control. What this means is the lift stays where you put it and does not change position until you change it. The Fergusons have only draft control and will not hold a position without continuously correcting the position. I have a "Zane Thang" on my TO-20 and it really does work and makes using implements such as mowers and blades a lot more user friendly.
