My to35 has an alternator and a coil with internal resistor.I have a dat-com tach with hour meter to install. The directions are unclear to me as I am electrically challenged.Anyone have suggestions? THANKS.

I think that is the kind I installed on my 35 a couple of years ago. I am currently goofing off at work but when I get home I'll check to see what I have and may be able to help. Most likely I threw away the paper work though. The hardest part for me was getting these old big knuckles in such tight quarters.

I would love to know more about the tach you are installing. Where did you get it? How can I order one?

Mickey,I got mine from dennys carb shop.It is the same size as the original on the to35.The cost is about 120.00 with hourmeter and 80.00 without. You could get the same tach from other sources a bit cheaper[it is a dat-com],or so I was told after I GOT ONE.
