I have a 59 FE35 and it drops like a rock. So john(UK) I'll take you up on the offer you made to john d. But I am too new to this to know how to send you my email address. Thanks, Cosmo

John,
You have a leak somewhere in the system;control valve, cylinder, stuck relief valve, etc. Do a search on this forum and I imagine every concievable cause for your problem has been discussed before. Good Luck.

Strictly speaking its ok if it takes so long to drop, when they tested them at the factory they were happy if they stayed up 4 mins....but when new most of them used to stay up much longer, at that rate of drop the pump is more than capable of handling it. But if you really want to stop it I can give you a check list of what to do and how to do it...just let me have an email address I can send it too.

Sounds like a great thing for me too, please send although I will have to figure out the source of the exhaust coming out of my radiator cap before I bother with the hitch- oh well winter is coming
