Does anybody know if the old after market pumps needed to be bled after filling. The fluid ran low and I filled it up but the bucket goes up slower than usual and chatters when lifting. The pump is mounted on the front of the tractor and uses the frame tubing as the Reservoir. Might be time for a new pump anybody know where to get them? Thanks Mike

I had the same problem with mine. After I added some fluid it behaved just like yours. Found I hadn't added enough. Put some more in an it stopped. Those rams take a lot of fluid at full extention.

I saw the pumps for sale at my local JD dealer who sells Fergie parts from their TISCO catalog. I rebuilt my whole engine and hydraulics from the TISCO dealer. Many tractor places are retailers for TISCO. Check your local dealer if you still find you need a pump after adding some more fluid.
