Picked up a Ferguson TO-20 today in fair condition and plan to buy a Bush Hog. Will be mowing old fields with some alder brush, and wonder if I should get one 48" wide rather than 60". The little bit this Newbie knows, comes from reading this Board - has been a big help. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Hi Tree Farmer
We've all been newbvies at one point or other. Please see my response to Barry's post a little further down on this board and be sure to get an ORC BEFORE attaching your bush hog. My 2085 handles a 60" with no problem but it sure would be a lot more exciting (i.e.- dangerous) without an ORC. It would be nice to have independent PTO. Good luck
Bob

I recently had the use of a 60 inch wide bush hog for a few days on the back of my TEA-20 it work perfectly. I run the tractor in 1st gear with about half throttle. I was bush hogging feilds with thistles that were about 10 feet high. The fergy handled it like a pro, Good Luck
