Recently while brush hogging the govener on my TO-30 became very slow to engage and then not at all. Is there a simple adjustment to correct ?

Normally you will not need to adjust it. Don't try it without an owners/service manual, you'll just waste your time and make it worse. First spray all the pivot points with Liquid Wrench or WD40 to free up things and disperse dirt and grease that may be preventing free movement. Check the spring for connection and tension, sometimes it loses tension or breaks. Keep us posted on the results.

The problem was as simple lack of lubrication. Again I am up and running. THANKS DavePA
