My clutch has stuck over the winter. Any ideas how to free it without tearing apart the engine? What rearend oil should I use?

If you have a safe place to do so, try to get it going eventually in 4th gear , drive around with the clutch held down and all the while stabbing at a brake pedal. Right one would be the easiest. Many times they will break free.
