Fixing TE starter switches, It really can be done!

The TEA starter switches can be fixed in almost all cases, they are very simple. Most common problem is dirty terminals.

1. Remove any electrical connections.
2. Remove the three screws that hold on the bakerlite cap, including termnal posts.
3. Lift off the bakerlite cap and terminal posts.
4. Lift out the copper cotact disk.
5. Using a wire brush or other abrasive, clean the contact disk and the bottom ends of the terminal posts.
6. Clean all grit from the parts and then put it back together.

Like fixing the old solenoid on 57 chevy eh" Phil, wish I could do that to mine but the top bakeilite is busted in half.
