I'm looking to replace the cable and am not convinced what I do have is the proper length. Anybody here know what it should be?

Thanks, Chris B.

As somebody mentioned in a reply a couple of days ago, you want to keep it as short as possible and the heavier the gauge of the cable the better. As long as you have room to manuever the cable for connecting it then it is long enough. If you want orginality then order it from your local Case/IH dealer. Otherwise any auto parts store will work. For heavy duty ones check with a truck repair shop or welding cables with solder ends works good.
