The F12 would be a perfect "starter" tractor. About 90% of the parts are commonly available, they're dead simple to work on, and easy to transport.

They're also quite common in most areas, and not particularly valuable. A running F12 that doesn't need an engine rebuild (smokes a lot, or leaks water because the block is cracked, that sort of thing) with tires that will hold air, and reasonably straight sheet metal, faded paint, etc. etc. would be worth about $500 to $750 around here. New tires (especially if they're 40" rims) recent paint/decals, or unusual options (electric start, lights, overdrive) would increase that accordingly.

I would say its a very good firt tractor.Value would depend on where you are at,the accessories the tractor has, condition of tires,if it has any.Best guess would be 600-1000,BUT if shes a real good friend..... ..she'd just give it to you!!!!

Seems to me that if HE were a real good friend, and the tractor was worth it.....he'd offer the 600-1000 dollars.

Wow, Ole Coot! I must have touched a nerve there! Keep your shirt on! If you get that upset every time someone responds to one of your posts you must spend a very great deal of time being upset. As to my name...Why don't you just call me "Mr. Smith"....."Mr. John Smith", or you can call me "Mr. Jones" if it makes you feel any better. As to your little "joke"... do yourself a favor and don't embarrass yourself further with any more of them. It was just plain stupid.

Better sit back, take some deep breaths, enjoy a cold glass of ice water and count to 10 Ole Coot. I certainly hope you don't have a job at the postal service. You strike me as a bona fide candidate for some serious counseling.
If some one like yourself won't be posting here any more" than I guess I'll have to bear up under the burden of guilt as best I can. I'll do my best to lighten that load with such thoughts as "good riddance to crybabies".
No one, much less myself, intends by intent or in reality, to cast dirt on the memory of your father. Get off your high horse Ole Coot and don't mischaracterize what I said. As to my screen name...Just what difference can it possibly make to you my simple friend? Are you going to sic the tractor police on me or something? Whether I post a screen name that you think of as legitimate or not in no way takes away from the fact that you make yourself look mighty foolish throwing a tantrum, pounding on the floor and screaming "waaahh!" at the top of your lungs.

: D ROFL Wow, Ole Coot! I'd give something to know how much sleep you have been losing over all of this. I'm starting to think that tractors are just too frustrating a hobby for you. Why don't you take up a less vexing one instead? Maybe you could take up quilting, collecting marbles or just rocking in a chair. Of course now, I'm starting to think that you aren't really and Ole Coot at all. You're petulant dialog, crass imagery and of course those pitiful attempts at humor all stack up to convict you of being just a stupid, punk kid. Why not change your screen name to more accurately refect your status? You could try, "Crybaby" "Hamburger Flipper" "Paper Delivery Boy" or just simply "Stupid Punk Kid". It is with very mixed feelings that I will be leaving tomorrow for a week at the coast. While the week promises to be a glorious one and a welcome escape, I will of course be compelled to break off our little exchange. And while candor forces me to award myself the laurels of victory in our dialogue, I hope that you will contintue to post on the forum a week from now. I have enjoyed immensely our "conversation". Indeed I have laughed myself to tears on scanning your ill intended missives and have chuckled throughout the last couple of days whenever I called them to mind. It is but seldom that one encounters someone whose cage is so easily rattled, yet is so ill equiped to defend himself. So long! Hope to see you in a week!

PS Let me know if you settle on a different screen name! : D
