Will my 32 hp dexta handle a small baler comfortably or will it be struggling? i have been told that the baler may cause engine damage to the tractor if it isnt very powerful and a large load is encountered as high revs will have to be maintained and driving both wheels and p.t.o will cause a strain on the engine. could anyone help me with my dilemma and maybe suggest what they think is in the operating limits of my machine Thanks.

I run a NH 845 round baler and a NH 68 Super Hayliner small square baler with my Super Dexta.

Sometimes in heavy bahai or johnson grass the 845 makes it grunt like a old widder woman needing a dose of salts but it handles the job fine.

Most old balers only need 50 strokes a minute or so. The Dexta will do that at about 1500-1600rpm.

Don't let the size of your tractor worry you.
