M farmall tire switch

I am attempting to just get a replacement tire for my 1941 M FArmall. I had a 13.6 x 38 that was bad on the left. I have found a tire and rim that is a 12.4 x 38 that is coming off the right side and I now want to use for the left side. Will this work fine for just an old work tractor? Bill
