434 starting last time I hope

Well this is where I am at. I see the small wire from the to of the solinoid but can't see where it goes {crappy eyes} I followed it the best I could and looks to go up to the instrument panel. Now it was said that it goes to the amp gauge to feed power elsewhere. I have on my panel a water temp gauge a light switch the speedo and ofcourse the ignition switch. Now I did see behind the speedo after taking it out a small what looks to be a relay just above the steering coloum with some wires going into that. I guess what I am asking, and given what I have,where would that wire be attached to. I am thinking maybe just run a new one. Sorry to bug ya again guy's. Thanks AL
