Today I brought home a 1953 SWD6. Tag shows "SWD6" SN# 6396J. The grill nose badge is the IH normally found on Supers but the hood has the stainless INTERNATIONAL badges. There are no decals on the tractor (repainted). My question is about the "INTERNATIONAL" hood badges. Could they have been original or do you believe the hood has been changed? All of the tin work is in pristine condition which would lead me to believe that it is all original but in 50+ years anything could have happened.
