JD MT hydraulics

my hydraulics just stop working full of oil just wondering what to look for first whether pump or pump under seat thanks dave

Take a 3 lb hammer start tractor up pull lift handle all the way up give the hydraulic unit a big hit on top don"t hit hard enough to bust it.

The only hyd pump on a JD MT is bolted to the frt of engine. No hyd pump under seat. I would suggest checking psi under seat with a gauge.

Check your motor oil. The hydraulic unit may look full of oil, but it can be deceiving. If the seal in the pump on the motor goes bad it leaks back into your engine. Mine just did this. Not a bad job but while I was in there I ended up taking more things apart to fix them "while I was in there".
