Not to brag on myself and our chapter but we had our District X leadership contest tonight and we cleaned house on awards.
I myself won First place in Ag Mech. Demo (showed how distributer works and makes a spark)
won Second place in Jr. Welding and our Parlimentary Procedure Team won First place
 
Congratulations. Sounds like your group cleaned up. :) As an alumni member that has judged contests I know how much hard work it took.

Brag all you want. I make the occasional trip to our high school to help out with FFA activities. As I walk the halls I shake my head and just dont understand what I am seeing then I walk in the doors to the ag classroom and my faith in todays youth is quickly restored. As I have travled with the FFA chapter to district contests I am truley amazed how, as a group, they seem to be headed to a level of success that few of their peers will achieve. There is so much to be learned participating in FFA its value is unmeasurable.

Congratulations, always great to hear of FFA doings. Was in Shady Spring West Virginia chapter 1973-1976. Won lots of competitions, didnt make farming a vocation BUT what I learned there and mentoring from a great young teacher pushed me to go to college and have enough confidence to be successful. Always be proud of your accomplishments!!!!
 
Im from the Gibson Southern FFA (Haubstadt, Ft.Branch and Owensville) we are just north of Evansville about 15 minutes
 
Did you ever know an Ag teacher at Princeton by the name of Bill Davis? His wife and he were our best friends while at Purdue back in the late '50s.
 
You're not bragging, your stating the results of all your hard work.

Congratulations.

Now... if you're 45 years old and still telling the same news... well thats not bragging, at that point you're washed up.

Nice accomplishment, keep up the good work.
