Case Vac block

I am looking for a case vac block.i was taking mine to the machine shop when i noticed it was cracked when i was taking it off of the truck.

If it is cracked behind the carburetor
(left side)....I've seen MANY MANY VACs cracked there....including ours.

If yours has this crack, most I have seen have been patched or welded and are running just fine with that crack. It seems to be a crack only in the outer water jacket and doesn't hurt anything as long as it's sealed. Maybe have the machine shop look and see what they think.

Of course, you could find a good block too. Just letting you know.

Big thing is where you are. I have 2 VAC parts tractors that have I believe good blocks but I am in Missouri

I live in Alabama.But if you could check and tell me if they were cracked or not.I could pay to have it shipped or something.

I will try to remember to look at them today. The one would need new sleeves and all and the other would need new sleeve seals at the least. One is locked up real tight the other is free or was but one sleeve came out when it freed up at first
