john deer 450 E reversal location

I have a JD 450 but Im not sure if a 450 and 450 E are the same in that respect. Could you be a little more specific as to what your looking for?
 
Do you mean "reverser"?

As a rule of thumb, if you need help finding a component, your ability to rebuild it is called into doubt. . .
 
he is looking for the location of the reverser when it is hot it doesn't have reverse, when cold you can back it up
 
You're planning to fix a reverser, and you neither know the proper name for it, nor where it is.

But you're right on one thing- if it works cold, but not when hot, it does need rebuilding. By somebody who can find it.
 
excuse me. i placed this for my husband and i mispelled a friggin word!!!! geeze get a life. i don't work on these lousy things my husband was an automotive machinist for 25 years and just recently switched to a new job that included working on this stupid thing!!!he worked on automotive not dozers and the like but a person has to start somewhere, right?

I not too knowledgeable on JD ind equip but I think the reverser is right behind the clutch housing. Be sure a pressure test the test ports before attempting repair. Have you tried posting on this Forum on this site?
