Farmall B Sediment Bowl

In the process of restoring my 48
"B" I mistakenly got the gas line started crooked in the sediment bowl and now the threads are crossed. If there is anyway to fix the threads I would be glad to here about it.

I started searching for a new sediment bowl and I can't find one like there is already on the tractor. Mine looks like the one that is sold for the H and M's. When did they change the size of the sediment bowl for the smaller tractors? Is there any place where I could Purchase one like the original for my B Farmall?

Take the sediment bowl off and take a small 3 cornered file and dress up the threads. Make a new gas line with a new nut.

You should be able to buy one new from the dealer or if you can not I have a couple laying around from a project toy I am building right now. Pictures in the farmall forum if you want to see. But any how I have at least one spare on hand if not more

Check TSC. They stock at least a couple generic ones. Might have one close enough for your application, unless you're a purist, and need an exact replacement. If that see if you can get a thread die form your local hardware, or auto parts supplier.
