O/T: It seems to have worked...

A couple of days ago I posted about it being way too dry here in southern MO. Every time I've comments on the weather in the last six month or so, it has changed 180 degrees. This appears to be no exception. Over the weekend the forecast materialized a chance of rain this week every day except Friday! Now, I hope it is enough rain to do some good, not just a few flash and gone thunderstorms.

Let me know if it works. We are hot and very dry here. Could use a good 3 inch soaking rain. All that"s in the forecast for the next 10 days is isolated Tstorms.

still dry here but we have been getting rain of and on for the last 3 weeks just a little here and there but tropical storm earl is headed our way might hit end of week so 2nd cutting is on hold for now

Last rain we show was around the 15 of Aug. and have not seen any since and then it came 2 inch one day and 3/4 of an inch the next day. Messed up my hill side on the drive way and I have not fixed it but boy now I wish I had since me and the bike and the black berry's had it out this morning. Left arm full of holes but I stayed up on 2 wheels. There calling for rain the next few days and I hope we get some and then I'll fix the hill. I know if we do not get some real rain soon doing a 2nd cutting of hay might be a waste of time and $$

we are in the midst of a drought here in cent wi. Hasn't rained in 10 days. If this keeps up, soil moisture levels could drop to normal and we could take the duals off for cutting third crop

Old, you need to see if you can find that old speed patrol back there in the weeds or that "I" beam or some of that other equipment you have and fix that drive.........

The W Speed Patrol sits in the machine shed and all I have to do is pour some gas in it and go. But with them calling for rain I hate to work on the road just to have it get washed out again but then that is why I have not worked on it yet since they had called for more rain then we didn't get it

The weather guessers in se wi like too use the words pop up thunderstorms, been dry for 7 days here, still need more time for 2nd crop around here.hard to cut with popup thunder storms in the forcast.will be chopping corn before we get all the hay in for 2nd crop.

Hang on Chris. I heard today we are supposed to get 2-4 inches in two days. We are just south of St. Louis. It sure has been hot and dry. Kinda typical for late August.
