I also have a mf industrial tractor. I am not sure what year or model it is, except for a tag indicating the loader model is #34 and the serial # on the instrument panel is 9A T24926

Any ideas

You don't have an MF20. It was only available with the MF32 loader. The MF 34, 4 bar bucket linkage, loader was available on the the MF40 and MF30 ind. tractors. The MF40 is actually smaller than the MF30 and has a hard nose around the radiator and is a 3 cylinder Perkins gas or diesel. The MF30 is a 4 cylinder Perkins gas or diesel. I think the T in your serial number is a 1, which would make your tractor a 1971 according to this site. 9A was used a whole bunch of tractor models. Dave

Thanks Dave. You are right about the T in the serial. You have given a lot of info in a few sentences to steer me in a direction to find parts and operating manuals.

Thanks so much Alex

Lots of knowledge on the Massey forum. Chuck used to be a dealer and may have some manuals as well. Once you figure if it's an MF30 or MF40, ask any questions on that forum. Dave

I have a MF 40 industrial tractor which exhausts vertically from the 4 bolt port at the front of the manifold. There is also a 3 bolt triangular port at the opposite end that has a manifold blanking facing downward.

I would like to use this port to exhaust fumes down and under the tractor. Are there any issues in re-directing the exhaust through this port?

Thanks Alex
