Mystery tractor seat?

I have a seat the previous owner cobbled onto an "A" Farmall. May not even be a Farmall seat. Take a look at the link below and see if you know what it belongs on. Thanks.
Tried to post a picture here, but couldn't get the settings right.(I will try to figure out why my pics won't upload)

I'd say it's a Monroe seat. I have saw one very similar before.. Can't recall on what now.. seems like maybe a WD/WD45 Allis?

That's my guess

Brad

Same style as the Monroe aftermarket seats my family has on some of our Farmalls; the mounting base is different due to the model of tractor.

Truthfully, more comfy than the standard "A" or "B" seat. Problem is it hangs a little far back and has a rotten board supporting the back mount. I don't wanna have to chase the tractor down!

From the other comments, I'd say you nailed it Brad. Aftermaket or upgrade Monroe seat. I will have to check the bolt pattern on my "M". It really doesn't fit on my "A".

Neighbor has one on a JD 'A',had one on my F-20.They are a lot more comfortable than the one trhey replaced.I'd leave it on,its unusual, and rare for an'A'You may have one of a kind.

Just remembered,my son has one on his '46 Oliver'60'If you really want to get rid of it, I would be interested

That model fit many tractors but they did have a different model just made for the A and B series. Monroe sold them tons of dealers would have one for display. The model for the F-20 was different than yours as they did have several types. I have the model for the A and B if someone wanted one.It doesent take up the space on the floorboard like yours does.

Monroe Easy Rider, Dad had one on a Case DC, Granddad bought e new Farmall A with one, I think may have been a dealer installed option.

I will get it off the tractor and put a better pic on in the next couple days. Hard to get a decent shot at bolt pattern with 2 cultivator levers and close fenders.

Very common on the later WCs around here. Used the same mounting bolt as the factory seat. Never saw one on a WD- the mounting would be a bit different, but not too hard to jerry-rig. WD/WD45 already had a spring/shock absorber seat. Have noticed that on the AC seat, the tapered spring turns the opposite way as what I"ve seen on Farmalls.

Seat base is 20" X 4.5". Mounting holes are 11" on center.
