Need a manuel for a 1925 Rollin. I have been told that Rollin White used a tractor engine in this car. He built them from 1923-25 in his cletrac plant. This is a 4cyl gas engine. Block casting # 12.3024. Head has a #10090-2. Looking for any info. on this drive train. Also any info. on the car.

Well, Standard Cat American Cars 1805-1942 says the Rollin engine was "...a high compression 41HP four with four mains and aluminum con rods and pistons..."
It also says an earlier intended engine was a high compression engine designed by Fred M Zeder, a former Stude engineer, but doesn't state if there was any connection between the two?? engines.
My 1930 McCord gasket catalog lists "Rollin Motor, 4, Passenger. Model G. 1924-25" as a 31/4x41/4. and lists head and a few other gaskets as if it was it's own design.
The combustion chambers are oddly "bent", somewhat similar to engines listed as Cletrac and Stude, which could be a coincidence or a certain design teams influence...
I don't know if Cletrac actually built any of their "own" engines or had their design(s) built.
A 36 King Prod (engine parts etc) lists one Cletrac "own" 4 of 31/4 bore, but the only part listed for Rollin (valves) are different, and no Stude engine shown has the Rollin valves. The numerical index in that catalog shows the Rollin valves unique to Rollin.
I've got some older catalogs I can check; if I find any engine connections will advise.
