Yeah, I know waiting till the last day isn't good to file but owed a bunch to Uncle Sam so no big hurry. Getting a little back from the state and decided to pay the $20 to file electronic vs printing, signing, documents together, etc.

BBBUUUTTT, sent it off early this morning - rejected, went home at noon and sent again - rejected. This is what you get from THEIR website and no body answers the 800 number. Guess I'm going to have to do it the old fashioned way and sit in lines at the post office.
End of Rant

Just guessing, but what you are experiencing will more then likely be with others as well. Gotta be carefull or pooFFFFFFFFFFFFF. post will be gone gone again. Take a lunch with ya when visiting the post office as there will(in all probability ) be a long line. LUCK to you in this adventure lol. LOU

If you think you're having a bad day, imagine what the web master for that site is going through. No excuse for it crashing though.

My wife helped her niece who works at Mcdonalds file her taxes and they were rejected also.

Well dropped off at the main POST OFFICE. They couldn't tell me whethter the address should go to Springfield or Galesburg! (had both)

GGGGRRRRRRR - least I hope it goes somewhere.

Gotta love these goverment "workers"

Jim, I am sooooo dissapointed in you! Dont you watch tv? You can let those taxes pile up till you owe hundreds of thousands of dollars to the IRS and then end up only paying like 20 bucks or something. I guess those comercials were wasted on you!

Dang:
Now you remind me - guess I have seen them at late night but forgot in the "heat of the moment".

How's planting and field work going? Sure is a lot better weather than last year.

Say "Holly Cow" to Wrigley from time to time so he remembers!

Things are rolling along quite nicely. Havent really been pushing since it is only april 15th but we have about 260 acres planted into some of the nicest conditions we have seen for a couple of years. Have really enjoyed listening to Pat and Ron do the cubs games this week. Thought they were going to pull that one out today. They have shown some signs of being a contender on this homestand. Looks like my buddy wrigley is worn out, sleeping at my feet again!

While I'll admit there's a lot of incompetent "help" at the post office, why would your LOCAL post office--which is federal government--know where your STATE taxes are supposed to go? At best, all they can do is send it to where it's addresses...it's up to YOU to know where to address it to.

Heard the state is sending IOU's instead of refunds because they spent your money already. Wife made sure we didn't have a refund coming from the state but got some change back from the feds.

YA, I watch those ads. If you are in the position that those people are in you are in deep do do! The IRS is the least of your worries. Ever noticed that those people don't tell you what you will pay them for tax relief? They are one step above ambulance chasing attorney's which isn't saying much.

I heard of a person that went through the settlement process. The only way the IRS will settle for twenty dollars if that is the only thing you have left. The IRS has also stepped up its efforts to find off-shore money and assets now.

Why do you need to wait in line at the post office?
Cant you just chuck it in the mailbox?
