Trying to get a steering cylinder off a versatile tractor. Nut came off good but the bolt doesnt budge, is it pressed in or is it suppose to turn out? Thanks for any help.

If it is like the pins on the center hinges on any and all Versash!ts, it probably has a shoulder wore on it, and everything needs to be just right to get it out.

Have fun installing the new bushings.

Hey Moline -

There is nothing "officially" holding them in - but they can sure stick tight.

A friend of mine just went through that on a 950. He tried everything & wound up torching them out.

It wasn't that big of job on my 895 a few years ago... Not sure why mine weren't that way - we sure worked it pretty hard...

Thanks, didnt know if they were threaded in or not, we will heat it up good and try to press it out with a bottle jack.
