3020 john deere leak

You will have to replace the tapered bushings in the transmission housing and the lower draft frame. If the bushings are worn, they allow too much movement fore and aft which causes the seals to rip between the lip and the steel casing. I tried not to do the bushings on my 4010 and decided after the third reseal to replace them. Going on 4 years......no leaks.

BTW, the bushings have a slight taper on the ID.

After-market bushings with o-rings (probably available from your JD dealer) w/appropriate shims and new seals will fix it permanently, IF your shaft is not worn.
