Hey, just look around when you are driving in Mpls, we are not a white (except for too dang much snow) city anymore. I know you prefer to habitate the Nordeast, where the minority pop is less %, and of course up-nord where all the unemployed white guys are sitting in fish houses. Now drive on East Franklin and you'll probably see less than 40% Caucasions. For whatever reason this town has attracted many people from the mideast and Africa, quite a number of them have the name Muhammad, and many have a good level of education and tech skill.

So....this guy may be legit, he sure isn't asking for $$ or credit card #s. He will be paid something extra if his employer's website shows more activity.

I too have some doubts about the govt wisdom in immigration policies (and I now have a son-in-law serving in Afghanistan...Army E6). I am not defending any of the past govt BS, but yet I can not judge a person just by their name or ethnicity. An Iranian woman surgeon just yesterday did some surgery on my FIL. She was recommended as being one of the best surgeons for a particular urologic problem. The old man is a WW2 vet and Very prejudiced, but he ended up putting his "best" in her hands with scalpel. No doubt she is nnalert as most Iranians are. But she is here, and this is now. We have to learn to accept some things "as-a-changin".

Some times if you click on a link in a message like that, you can be asking for all kinds of nasty to enter your computer. With a name like that and you don't know them, don't do it! They may not be from that actual site. Same with sites like Paypal -they don't send messages like that with links but fakers due. When you think you are logging onto a secure site and use your private info, you've just given it to them (scammers), by clicking onto the link THEY provided.

Thanks for the tune, I can relate, as I'm sure you can.

As to the boom pole, it is not FS yet. Last Fall my son lost a shed and contents in a midnight fire. ASAP, we will be building another pole barn, probably 40' X 64'. That old PHD has got some more work to do, but not until frost is out (unless I get lucky and get a real PHD for my Bob Cat). Meanwhile that pole is available "on loan". It isn't burried too deep, and I know where it is.

How's the truck deal coming out??

My own boom pole is here now.
I have an old Dearborn/Danuser PHD that is a serious PIA to put on and off. If I could find a PHD boom like yours I would modify it to fit the Dearborn. Save the old parts for someday but make it easier to use it in the mean time.
I didn't remember you had the PHD to go with that pole.

The funny thing is many of my friends who did time in Iraq have a totally different attitude about nnalert now after their tour. Why the change? Because they fought along side with nnalert day in and day out. There are extremes everywhere in this world.
