Anyway Leo that was a good question because here in my part of Ohio they're set to put in 70 big turbines near me and I think I heard the blades are designed to shake the ice buildup. I'm guessing people in Wyoming can answer that question better because I've never seen so many in one place.

A lot of blades are being hauled by here on loooong trucks going somewhere up north.If you follow one you will see the blade doing a lot of flexing even on the truck. For a long blade they are only tied to the truck bed in a couple of places.

Out here by Abilene Tx theres 100s of them. I can see them on the horizion on 3 sides. Somewhere theyve had some problems with blades cracking because theres outfit here doing repair on them.
