OT plastic model cars and glue

Bought 3 model cars for my grandkids(Revell)models might be older. Glue not available. Wonder can you still buy any. Thanks. Dave

I buy glue at wallyworld and meijer. Got a tube about a month ago.

City or county ordnances might require that it not be on display, to keep it out of the hands of kids who want to steal it and sniff it. Ask at the counter of a hobbyshop or toy store that sells plastic models.

model glue is very hard to find. Hobby shop is the last place I found it.

most of the stuff I assy on a model car I use a small pocket screwdriver,,, heat the tip and melt the plastic,,, stays put forever and no mess,,, when you get good at it you can not find were its been welded together...

They have taken all the fun out of model building. I would never have thought about sniffing it, but that was the hazard of it.

Put together many model airplanes as a kid.

Used the heated tip of an ice pick to "stick" pieces together.

I can still smell the melted plastic.

Thanks. Me and grandkids are gonna try and have fun. Remember spin welder. That was pretty good. Few people with good ideas and the old noggin wakes up(sometimes)
