OT: Thanksgiving

Next week I'm taking some vacation time during the Thanksgiving holidays.

Hope all of you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

A few of us think of Thanksgiving as a lot of food, family, and football.

Read a short article yesterday about being thankful for what we have.

At this stage of the game, I am thankful for a good wife, good health, and a good job.

I THANK God, Family, Health, Country pretty much in that order. If you have God and Family you dont need much else so Health is next, but the way things are going I fear for the Country and Healthcare of our seniors and kids and grandkids.

I'm thankful for all those things, too. But most of all, I'm thankful that Jesus died in my place, satisfying God's righteous wrath against my sin, and that by repentance and faith, I am redeemed for all eternity!

My health, my wife, familY, anmials, farming and just being alive. I may have complained alot this summer about the rain, but Im thankful for what I made of it, and that I got threw it. J

I received an Email the other day. with a beautiful angel on it saying if I forwarded it to ten people I would have a financial burden be lifted in two days. even if I only sent it to two people. that I could be rich in two weeks.

After thinking for a little while as most don't even bother with those FW emails I sent this note back to sender.

"As I looked around thinking of this, I decided I am rich with the love of my family , and God. This angel has been watching over us."

Today I get good news that I will get my mortgage lowered and at a lot lower interest.

Like you THANKFUL for family and health . still looking for a job , but thankful I can say I'm able to work ... when I find it ..

Thankful for the family on these sites ... that are there if you need some incouragement { sp } or just want to talk or need a prayer ...

LETS SEE!!! My poor heart my MS my Arthur's itis my poor over all health. "Hell" I'm in good shape for 71. Its my poor 84 year old wife I worry about one mastectomy and maybe another will know next week.
Well i hope to live to be 150 but someone is sure trying to stop me short of that goal.
Other than that and my low income I'm not doing to bad for a rich man.
