Trailer hand crank to electric crank?

Do you guys know anyplace that sells a 12 volt electric motor that will replace the hand crank on a flat bed trailer? Guess I'm gettin' old. Thanks!!

Dad jerked the motor out of a door on a car with power windows back in the 80s when he got tired of going out to the backyard in the winter to crank the dish.

I got a new in the box one a couple years ago. I haven't got around to instaling it yet. I was told it was around $350.00 new.

I was also told it was slow, but has alot of power. If I remember correct it has a pigtail with control on it.

Our show is this weekend, and I don't have alot of extra time or energy to check it out. But sure will next week if You remind me.

I've seen guys cut the crank off and hook an electric motor to the stub sticking out of the jack,or put a sprocket on the shaft and drive it off the winch motor above.

Cut the crank off and weld an old 1/2" drive socket on, facing inward. Now you can use your cordless impact wrench to raise and lower and its takes just seconds. Keep your cordless impact in the cab with you.

Bulldog makes a power drive unit that fits on thier jacks. I purchased on of these and installed it on my trailer about 20 months ago. It works great. I have it on my 14,000 lb. capacity trailer. It will raise the trailer when it is loaded with my tractors. Big help when hooking up since my wife helps me hook up she can just hit a button to raise or lower the trailer.
