That seat was an after market item and could have been put on several tractors. They're called Farmer's friend by some folks and Farmers Comfort seats by others. I brought a 1946 John Deere from the orginal owner and it has one, They're very comfortable. 'Course some Deere owners swear "It ain't John Deere", but that's mostly 'cause they're still working on their first rodeo.

it looks like a munroe ez ride seat. they made em for a lot of different tractors. looking at the base set up on the seat, i'm guessing it is for a standard instead of a row crop. looks real close to the seat on my w-9

The seat pan is unknown to me, but the rest of it is a Monroe E-Z ride.
The Monroe E-Z ride is most often found on Farmall Hs and Ms, but were also found on John Deeres, Fords, and Massey-Harris.

The example in your picture looks like it was built to fit a Massey-Harris 44.

Saw a couple of the pans on Cockshutts at a recent show. Does it have an "F" on the rear of the seat on the rubber? The ones I saw did. It was a Firestone "F". Seats did look like they could have been made from a tire or made by a tire company.
