Need a B belt alternator pulley

We need a source for "B" belt alternator pulleys. Wore out several and need to replace but all the local shops look at ya like you are dumb when you ask for such a thing. All they have are serpentine or v-groove pulleys that fit "A" belts. Most don't even know the difference between an "A" and "B" belt. Searched ebay and a quick google search but no good leads yet. Any and all help would be great! Thanks!

If the 'A' pulleys are thick enough, I've had them cut out at a machine shop...
I figuered it was just as cheap as hunting down a B pulley given I had the A pulley.

Most generator and alternator pulleys are interchangeable.

It would be best to look at industrial engines they usually used the "B" series belts as fan and generator belts.

Continental engines especially.

I buy Browning BK series cast iron pulleys and machine them to fit the alternator. The bore needs to be 17mm for Delco, so starting with 1/2 or 5/8 bore is OK. Grainger is one source for the pulleys.

Google this number 98NAA5825 (its a TISCO #),,, they also should list them on this site,,, they are expensive ($30) but are the corect pully. The so called universal 5/8 X 3/4" pulleys are incorect for your application and a waist of good money
